Students completing this qualification have insights in the fields of bookkeeping and the preparation of financial statements. It provides learning opportunities for aspiring bookkeepers, accounting technicians, professional accountants and chartered accountants.
This qualification gives admission to further studies should you wish to study a BCom or BCompt
What are the admission requirements?
A Higher Certificate in Accounting Sciences, or its equivalent, or conditionally, any NQF level 6 Diploma/NQF level 7 Degree,
or
Applicants may be required to register for one or two additional modules (depending on co-requisites) concurrently with the modules in the syllabi,
or
Applicants, who do not comply with the above requirements, should consider applying for a lower-level qualification for which they meet the statutory and additional requirements.
